as an only child, my parents managed to keep tight lipped on the secret behind santa until I was 12 and in 6th grade...that's when a teacher at school spilled the beans to me (and the entire class who aparently already knew)  I was devastated.  I still believe in the spirit of St. Nick!!!  You gotta - it's no fun w/o him.
